programmes designed specifically to meet the employability
needs of disabled people.
Background
Our research has conclusively shown that many disabled people
are keen to be more economically active, but are excluded from the
labour market by real but surmountable barriers.
Open Door
Open Door is an integrated employment programme that provides
waged work experience, intensive support, training and personal
development to disabled people with limited work experience and/or
qualifications.
Employability Training
Employability award training equips disabled people with the
skills needed in their search for employment.
Graduate Employment Opportunities
Our Professional Careers Programme offers graduates up to two years traineeships with full salary and employers a pool of talented, motivated disabled graduates and much more.
