There may be equipment
available which can make a difference. Glasgow Centre for
Inclusive Living is now one of three places in Glasgow where you
can view and try out a wide range of communication equipment
(so-called Augmentative and Alternative Communication
equipment).
The range of kit available includes everything from symbol
communication boards, to
electronic devices. Most items are available for short-term
loan so you can try things out at home. And if you're not
sure what would best meet your needs, we can refer you to a Speech
and Language Therapist for an expert assessment.
If you're interested in seeing what's available, it's best to
make sure someone's available to see you first. To make an
appointment, or simply to find out more, please contact GCIL
