Our training aims to promote equality between disabled people
and other groups, building understanding and confidence in dealing
with disability issues, and meeting responsibilities under
legislation.
Our training is delivered by experienced disabled trainers. We
aim to provide flexible bespoke training aimed at public, voluntary
and private sectors at competitive rates.
Our training promotes understanding of issues such as
independent living, barriers to inclusion and participation,
accessibility, customer service, employment etc.
Our training can be delivered in our fully accessible premises
in Glasgow, or at your premises if you have an accessible
venue.
Our training recognises that many non-disabled people are keen
to provide good services or support to disabled people, but feel
that they would benefit from greater awareness of disability
issues, enabling them to deliver goods, services and support in a
more inclusive way. This is important when you consider that 20
percent of Scotland's population are disabled people.
